The talk, followed by a discussion, will be given by Dr. Anouchka Sooriamoorthy, founder of In The Chaos World, that develops philosophical and critical thinking in the professional world.
Everywhere, men and women are wondering about the likelihood of meeting the one who is right for them, about ways of preserving love, about the possibility of loving a single person for a lifetime, about ways of thinking about love despite routine, conventions and arguments. Ever since Plato, philosophers have been questioning the mechanism of love, and while there may not be an answer to the problem of love, there are at least some fascinating reflections! On the eve of Lovers' Day, we'll be asking ourselves whether, in an age governed by productivity, ultraconsumerism and hyper-speed, we can still believe in love. Is it a naïve and illusory belief, or one that can give meaning to life?
